Lidar Certification

Lidar Certification

Seyond has released their first solid-state LiDAR, Hummingbird.

The sensor is directional, covering 140° (H) x 100° (V) field of view. The sensor is solid-state, outputting a camera-like scanning pattern which is fixed. With a small formfactor and affordable pricing, it’s a versatile sensor suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Pure solid-state design, reliable and durable

The Hummingbird D1 adopts a pure solid-state electronic scanning design with no mechanical loss, which greatly improves product reliability, production efficiency and mass production consistency, providing more reliable perception support for intelligent driving.

Small size, powerful substance

While ensuring excellent performance, the Hummingbird D1 has an exquisite and compact overall design that can be easily integrated into the side panels, bumpers, and other locations according to actual needs, providing greater flexibility and aesthetics for the overall vehicle design.

Ultra-wide field of view, no fear of blind spots

With an ultra-wide field of view of 140°×100° and a blind spot of less than 10cm, the vehicle perception system can perfectly cover the side and near-field areas of the vehicle, accurately predicting high-risk scenarios such as “ghost peeks” and side vehicle cut-in.

Satellite architecture, flexible integration

The Hummingbird D1 supports satellite architecture and raw data output. It integrates point cloud processing through a central domain controller, enabling system-level resource configuration optimization and providing more possibilities for future function upgrades and expansions.
