Product Overview
Helios series products, the new generation of customized multi-beam LiDAR, are customized forscene applications such as robots, intelligent vehicles and V2X establishments. Helios seriesadopted a new modular architecture design, Compared with RS-LiDAR-32, it’s 29% smaller in sizeand 60% lower in cost. And it also supports customization of beam number distribution.
Its 32-beam product Helios 32 provides 3 customized types to meet the multi-scenarioapplications of different machines and equipment:
26° Vertical FoV: offers the highest vertical angular resolution up to 0.5° of the series, and longerperception distance.
70° Ultra-wide Vertical FoV: fulfilling both perception and blind spot detection needs, simplifyingon-board sensor placement.
its 16-beam product Helios 16 offers 30° Vertical FoV, has been fully upgraded in performanceand functions compared with RS-LiDAR-16.
It mainly includes the following components:
- Protective Cover：Both the emitted laser and returned laser need to pass through the specially designed arc-shaped protective cover. Therefore, any obstruction within the laser’s field of view (FOV) is strictly prohibited.
- Aviation Connector：The main body of the LiDAR is connected to the interface box using an aviationconnector, which facilitates power supply and data transmission.
- Mounting Holes：Used to support and fix the position and orientation between the LiDAR and thebracket, it enhances installation efficiency and accuracy.
- M3 Screw Mounting Holes：Used to secure the LiDAR to the mounting bracket with M3 screws.
