FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) lidar is a type of lidar that utilizes frequency modulation continuous wave technology to measure distance and speed. It emits a continuous laser signal with a frequency that varies linearly over time and receives the echo signal reflected by the target. By comparing the frequency difference between the emitted signal and the echo signal, the distance and relative speed of the target can be simultaneously calculated.
